Build it big. And needlessly complicated.

Kinja'd!!!

The 250 has been doing great carrying loads to and from Home Depot. Raised vegetable garden beds. 4x8 and 4x4 boxes. The top box has a false floor and will be all wild flowers and bee flowers. Two more 2 high, 4x8s will go in the open area.

This little guy couldn’t care less about me being around.

Some how the garden became repairing soffit and installing gutters on my workshop.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Installing an external outlet (don’t mind my window) with an HF pump on WiFi outlet (because why not)

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Downspout to rainbarrel, HF pump to trenched PVC  to the boxes for forced irrigation. That little HF pump is like 400 gph. So it'll be interesting figuring out the PVC pipe holes and making sure to only run for a few mins as 50 gallon rainbarrel will be empty in ... Quick maffs... 7 minutes - ish

If it’s worth building, it’s worth overbuilding.

Hoping the raised boxes will be enough deterrent. If not a foot of chicken wire/mesh will make quick work of that.

Looks great. Is that pressure treated? Do they make special liners for vegetable gardens or is regular plastic sheeting okay?

Also, did you take our wild bunnies? There used to be so many last year in northern New Jersey but  I don’t think I have seen one this year.

Wait...it's not, "if it's worth building, it's worth building twice"?

Raised boxes are no deterrent. Marigolds and mint help, but determined rabbits will get in there anyway.

From what I’ve read it’s pretty safe to use in gardens. Old pressure treated definitely not.

You can have this bun since he'll likely become a garden intruder before long.
