Back in May of 2019, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Seeing as it still made 1.5 volts, I deiced to use it to power my mouse. Well, after almost 13 months, it still works.
Looking at this voltage over time graph, we’re about here.
So it looks like I might still have a few months of the battery powering my mouse.
I missed the exact year mark as I was on vacation that week and have been busy since then. Wonder how many more updates I’ll get to provide before it’s ultimate demise.

You should put it in a fancy shadowbox frame and display it once it finally goes flat.

This is good oppo! And, you must bored?! Also, without trying to sound like a dick, what are you expecting here.... the battery to explode at the expiration? Like all things in life, it’s just an approximation. Storage conditions along with manufacturing variables will contribute to the longevity of any battery. In most cases I find typical alkaline batteries will go to leaking well before their expiration date.
You got lucky, go buy a lotto ticket!
