The last few days I’ve noticed a serious shake in my headlight beam and I’ve discovered the culprit!

Kinja'd!!!

I don’t know which way to look!

Kinja'd!!!

The headlight bracket has rusted through and broken. The good news is this is covered by warranty, the other good news is the morgan dealer said they have never seen this before. As a 3wheeler owner this is a new exciting frontier to be on. Hopefully the part comes quickly which it most definitely won't.

They didn’t tell you that you were not supposed to actually drive your 3-wheeler on a regular basis ?

It’s inspiring to all of us, your exploration on the bleeding edge of the twenty teens’ revisit of the nineteen teens. High technology.

I’m like an explorer in a place many people have been and not many would return too.

That looks like a stress fracture and was probably there from early on given the rust on the failure area.

That is what there guess is as well and since you can’t really get in there to see it unless it breaks they are covering it.

“We've never seen this before!" Is often code for "this happens all the time but we arent going to admit it or go out of our way to remedy it" lol glad it's covered either way. Youre a madman for putting miles on this thing.

Sometimes I’ll be driving and hear a new sound, and think to myself.  “Will my tire fall off and I’ll slide off this cliff?” This makes things more exciting.

I wish it had wooden wheels.

That sounds like something Morgan would offer as an option.

To me it looks like it cracked and then rusted.

I would expect nothing less than unusual and creative failures from a 3- wheeled Morgan.

Probably cracked from the weight and vibration of the headlight then finally gave way.(wind resistance m ay have been a factor)
