Same house, same owner since 2007 . In the first picture you see his old 1992 E34 that he bought after selling his ‘ 89 E34 to his brother (who crashed it into a lawyer’s office when having a seizure; he then bought an E39). The second shows the two BMWs I sold him, my E21 and E34. Later on you see he’s added an E39 M5 whilst still hanging on to my E34. I even see a bronze Vanagon, my favorite color on my favorite car, in the garage. What I don’t see is the custom Harley and R1200RT
The last shot? No BMWs to be seen, and what appears to be some godawful Nissan PoS in the driveway. What happened? Is he still alive? Or is he in jail thanks to the combination of an absolutely horrible temper whilst driving combined with a CCW permit? Maybe his daughter or brother live there now.
Riding with him could be an exercise in terror. He would tell me about all of the jerks, assholes and incompetents cluttering up the roads, but for some reason when I was driving out there I couldn’t find these same people. Hmm...
He emphatically claimed that he was a better driver than me because he didn’t have any points on his license. I sucked it up, paid my fines and re-evalu ated my driving (only ever cited for excessive speed and one ‘ no right turn on red’ violation ) , whereas he would pay lawyers to make the multiple tickets go away. In addition, on numerous occasions he would have the cops come to his door based on reports from fellow motorists, politely telling him to watch his driving.

Law finally caught up and a judge wanted to make an example of him through the cruelest punishment imaginable: he is to drive a rental fantastic Versa sedan for the next 2 years.

What weirder is how narrowly the curb was cut for driveway access. You’d think it’d be at least as wide as a car.
