CUVs are ones that annoy me. I'm ok with a certain level of giving up practicality and usefulness for style but fwd based fatbacks aren't even that.

Like, a Toyota 4Runner is an absolutely terrible choice for a painless way to shuttle your kids around but that means more used off-roaders for the rest of us. Great cars but poor choice.

Most C UVs can’t be practical, efficient, fun, go off-road, or look good and certainly don’t do a ll of them like they are supposed to. Jack of a few trades and blunderer of all. I'm looking at you, CHR.

The Escape is pretty pathetic too. Bad seats, floppy handling, poor ride quality, mediocre fuel economy, kind of crap in snow, doesn’t do anything better than the Focus, and does several things worse.

Which generation? Or all of them? They are easier to get in and out of though and honestly the previous two gens aren’t terrible from a style standpoint if you get them in a fun color. My friend has a bright orange second gen and it really looks pretty good, though I wouldn’t buy one myself.

I’d wager an awful lot that most Cullinan drivers/owners/posers got the money via less than ethical means anyway, so this works.
