wtf happened to lifehacker? I was surfing through some old bookmarks of some pretty cool articles they wrote in the past, ranging as far back as the late 2000s up to 2017 (when I last gave a damn). Now there’s barely anything there even remotely fun to read about or tech related. What other sites are like the old lifehacker?
looks like it’s not just lifehacker either, seems like a lot of other websites under GMG are headed for the shitter.

I think it was always general stuff but even more mass market now. They do post some decent drink ideas and recipes. Never new a Ramos Gin Fizz was a thing. It was pretty good/interesting. I didn’t have heavy cream so I used twice the amount of half and half instead (to try and approximate the fat content) , and added a couple teaspoons of sugar instead of liquid simple syrup (to offset the extra liquid in the half and half) .
