If the tests are successful, the Spanish government and the EU could actually be interested in funding large scale Hyperloop routes between European cities.

I never believed the Boring tunnels were a warm up for Hyperloop. The projects are too different.

it will be interesting to see if any of these projects have merit... notably musk got OTHER people to sink their hard-earned VC funds into these companies so far.

There is plenty of money flowing around the world, unevenly distributed sadly. There’s plenty of money being spent on stupid stuff. Elon Musk gives people who have spare money, the opportunity to sink that money into world changing ideas, rather than pissing them away.

Is it really a smart idea to be developing new means of cross border travel with a deadly virus and no vaccine? I thought we were all supposed to stay within our home prefectures indefinitely
