Not intentionally, but I am just as much of a monster Maserati fan as I ever been. I’m getting excited that decent 2013+ models are nearing $37 ,5 00. For nearly three years, I’ve said I was going to nab a GranCabrio and it will happen when the timing strikes right . I won’t break my discipline for anything , but it’s torture knowing that a wonderful bad de cision is just one worse decision away ! D epreciation is a soup and I’m asking for a ladle bit more.
I’ll also admit that if I nail the cost of ownership over 3 years, and have a great experience, then this is going to end up being a gateway drug to attempting an Aston Martin and, eventually, a Ferrari in the waaay distant future.

I almost had to call off my wedding because my fiance didn’t want to rent a Gran Turismo as the getaway car.
That’s not true but I bet you could have
believed
it was
in this day and age.

Gotta get it with the later bumper that they took from the mc though. Too good looking, but I wholeheartedly love the 4 seater drop top. Wish it would somehow make financial sense but I won’t be in that position.

I have to say, I’m always surprised at your financial responsibility for irresponsible cars haha. I wish you the best of luck, I’d love to see a Maserati on Oppo! When you get one, you’ll have to post pictures everyday as penance for teasing us for so long

My colleague bought one
in the last year
from Sweden. I think it’s a 2008 model and cost ~35,000k€. It has been a
quite trouble free car.

Why would you get a Ferrar i if you already have a Maserati? It’s like I don't even know you anymore.

I love Ferraris! Heck, nearly 35% of my investments are in the company stock. I just love Maserati , Kia, and Jaguar more!

Trouble free is an amazing thing to hear about a 2008 car! Good on them!

I agree with you on the bumper! I think I can own it for 2 years and lose a total of $10,000 to $11,500 all together (depreciation, maintenance, wear items, insurance, taxes, everything). When you consider that a financed new Mazda3 costs more to own over the same two years, it becomes more reasonable.

Haha!! I’m also the type of person that needs to schedule a time to be spontaneous. I’ll definitely post a reasonable amount when I make it happen!

Where are these cross eyed squirrels that are free for punting? I’m asking for a friend...

I’m not a fan. But its really hard to say that when looking directly at a picture of one. I had to scroll down to get it out of view before I wrote this. If i scroll back up, like i’m doing now, well. See I think that’s a good enough looking
car that its probably worth the mon....oh i scrolled back down again. Yeah i’m not a big fan of those.

So these have the automatic transmission, therefore aren’t plagued with the issues of the sequential manual quattroportes. Do they have any real mechanical liabilities, or is routine maintenance just expensive because exotic italian?

Shame how many good deals there are right now that I can't take advantage of. Please post about it often!

Yep, it’s the routine being steep for how the car performs .
