Just a few items. A couple of the cameras I wanted were sold but the F100 was still for sale - I’m sure it was a good deal but I didn’t want to pay $170 for it. The Olympus I wanted was $325, so I passed on that one as well.
Here are pictures of some of the stuff I didn’t buy. I may come back, especially for the alcohol and some other stuff like detailing stuff from Griot’s Garage. Given the posters and hats, it appears that the guy was a BMW enthusiast.

Zactly. When I’m in Burbank I can pick up all sorts of old issues for 50 cents IIRC over at Autobooks/Aerobooks.
I figure that I’ll go back Sunday and offer $5/box.

I had one just like it, but I gave it (and several dozen other computers) away for free when I moved 8 years ago. I still have some of the computers I kept, like a PowetBook G4 17" and a maxed-out dual 1.8GHz PowerMac G4, that I have not fired up once in all these years. And the PowerMac G5? It’s essentially a table at this point. The G4 is probably only worth its scrap weight - the copper heatsink in that thing is massive ...

I frequent estate sales and the one of the local companies tries to charge $2 for old open cans of paint .

Estate sales are, typically, a joke when it comes to pricing things. I help at my churches annual
rummage sale. Last year we cleared over $20,000. We price stuff cheap. Magazines like those pictured above, maybe $
0.20 a piece. All those cleaners, if they are full, $0
.50, maybe $1.00 if unopened. Dishes, pot/pans, crock pots, etc. $1.00 - $10.00 max. We sell who china dish sets for less than $50.00, because the kids just don’t want mom’s old china anymore.

I’ve been getting away from the classic computers. I really don’t have the space to keep them, and if I want the experience I can usually do it better in software. About 5 years ago I recieved a slightly broken iMac G4 20" for free and fixed it. After playing around with it for a couple of months I didn’t know what to do with it, and instead of breaking it down and doing something weird with it, like turning it into a TV, I decided to pass it along to someone else for the same price I paid for it.
