I’ve been getting bored so I threw a lot of time and money at a vehicle I hardly drive. But now my truck has an apple carplay headunit and a properly wired backup camera. I’ve also insulated all the doors with Noico (cheap version of Dynamat). Will probably do the headlight conversion and black mesh grille on my upcoming weekend.

I also killed the batteries when I was testing the head unit and camera. So the truck is always on the tender now. Looks like I need to clean up the terminals and get new battery cables.

The manager of the building where I store the fintail has one of these, that appears to have every option - wheels, pano, etc.   It indeed is pleasant looking.  I just fear it’s the old car under the skin.

It should be but isn’t, I am remiss. I just kind of threw it in the garage after limping home from the last rally when the fuel pump died, then the world ended. Need to fire it up again, supposed to pick up some stuff for it soon anyway.

I tried to insure with Hagerty and they wouldn’t accept my car! Maybe the miles, I dunno.

Sam posted the change on his IG maybe a couple of weeks ago, I didn’t see if he’d still be an editor at large but that would be cool!

Yes it was. Ive sat in one a specced out showroom car at the dealer and it was very nice for the price point. Creative use  of space as well for storage. Nice materials that looked and felt more upmarket.

Yep, just the okder car underneath from what i understand but They knocked the styling out of the park. Especially the 2015 which wa s the only year for the Ceramic Blue Clearcoat.

I love my car even if it is a shitty Korean ecobox and I’ve put more money into it chasing the rust repairs I had done last year that the guy did really shoddily and now have to shell out another $1000 to have them all re-fixed PROPERLY. :/

She’s a good car....needs a bit of work...new suspension bushes (maybe new shocks/struts)...a replacement passenger headlight as mine is really cloudy.....otherwise, in pretty good shape for 11 years old and 175,000kms through the salty Atlantic air and winter roads of Nova Scotia!
