I gave the Alltrack a quick wash then went to really get a feel for the new tune. Now I have a question. Is this tune making me soft? It is so much more comfortable to drive normally that I kept having to remind myself, like “yo, test it out bro...”

Even when I do get up on it, it’s only for a second because there is now actual power at my disposal. I am getting far better mileage also. APR claims better mpg with a tender foot, but I’m getting it even with a mix of normal/spirited driving.

Speaking of Svend...Bleep blorp bloop... are you out there bro? I scratched the rear door with a piece of fence because I’m a dumb idiot. It’s not really visible, but too deep for an off the shelf “scratch remover”. I tried, it helped but I can feel it with my finger nail. I do have a power polisher but I have never used it. What do you recommend? Live with it, use the polisher, or take it to a professional?

Finally I switched my shift knob around so that the seam is facing away from me and I re centered a new coin.

Hi mate. You can try and soften the look by using a polish along the line of the scratch if it starts to bug but generally ye', either live with it if you have a good touch up person near you, ask them to give you a quote.

I like to think of the stage 1 tune as just refining the car, vs making it a racecar. I seldomly push it with my R, and when I do it’s brief because speed limits still exist.

Yeah I don’t have to “plan” any quick moves with the tune, I just step on the gas pedal and unless I’m really low in the rev range, there’s enough

Thanks! I figured that living with it is probably best. It’s tiny and on the passenger side rear door. My child turns two next month so the odds of that happening again on the same door are only going to increase over the next few years .

You’re really not helping me save money by not getting the APR+ tune. Lol

Yeah, that’s not the sort of help I like to offer. Page me when you need that extra little push to get you to pull the trigger.
