Waiting on

3x Chemical Guys spray bottles,

Martin Cox car duster and

2x Chemical Guys microfibre wheel wedge and rim detailer.

I love getting car cleaning parcels. Yay.

Will get a cordless vacuum for the car next week as I’m bored of having to get the extension cable, etc... out to vacuum the car for ten minutes. Grrr.

So it'll get used between main washes.

Soun ds like a box of fun. Having lots of microfiber cloths and the like is one of the best ways to improve your detailing because you can have different rags for different levels of dirt. I have a massive bag of Costco cheapies that still work great.

I won a contest not too long ago on instagram and i received chemical guys products, man that drying towel they have is awesome. I think most of their stuff is gimmick but that towel and the leather spray they sell are awesome.

Before I wash them, I grade them, wash them, inspect them, grade them for use, etc... each time half of them slide down the rule so I have to keep getting more. These aren't cheap but I like them and only use the various Gtechniq cloths on the outside of the car.

I’ve only tried a couple of Chemical Guys products, they had a bad name here in the U.K. and western Europe for a while, not so much the products (which some were over hyped) being wrong as much as the distributor for Europe was a massive waste of space and Chemical Guys did nothing about all the complaints for several years.

But I like some of their applicator and pads for cleaning wheels and car interiors.

I've got a less scientific methodology, but I keep the worst ones for the worst jobs.

They are trying to catch up lost time, there are so many companies out there and the products have changed so much in the last few years.

Lol. I’m not scientific, just anal about micromarring the paintwork, etc...

Sad really, lol.

Just lined up a 2007 Honda Civic Type R, red 3 door to clean next week while I’m on holiday.

So I can try out these new Chemical Guys products.

We never got that generation of Civic here. Haven't had a two door hatch in a long time. That red color looks very rewarding to wash the grime off of. I've got to wash my car again too.

Ye’, you got the coupes and we got the hatchbacks and estate. It’s the same car, different body on top. All the mechanical, etc... are the same. It just costs too much to federalise a car for North America.

the estate would of done well with it’s trick seats and large hidden areas.

I would like to think the estate would have done well but the Focus wagon of a few years earlier proved that the market was moving away from that. It would have sold about as much as the Elantra coupe. Trick seats and large cargo areas can’t hold up to “command seating,” or whatever.

We did get a Civic coupe. My friend has one of that generation and I didn’t recognize the car because we got a slightly different front end treatment and no Type R.
