This is the first 968 I’ve seen in years. Makes me really miss my old coupe.
At first I thought that Smart, or whatever it is, said NO beer, but no, it’s MO beer because it’s from one of our local breweries. And that little car could scoot - the driver did not hesitate to use all of that torque.

The Cruze parked by the 968 vert is painted my third favorite color they came in. Very rare option.

You should have seen the one I spotted today. It had the GT stickers and stripes on it, but the poverty-spec V6 wheels and tires, and a less than exciting exhaust note. I would have taken a picture but he was in the car and I didn’t want to embarrass the guy further.
I have no problem with a V6 Mustang, and if I were shopping for one that would have been my first choice. However, it’s just embar rassing when you try to pass it off as something it’s not, like a 318i with M3 badges on it.

That’s a surprise, but then again, my Mazda5 has a rare and beautiful one-year-only color, so anything’s possible. What I think the world needs is more yellows and greens, especially the bright stuff like on that beer cart.

There seemingly are more 944s on the road than 968s, at least the impression I’m getting. The cheap Porsche videos on YouTube are almost always 944s.

I lo ve green and yellow together! My Cruze is an arguably rared Autumn Metallic that isn’t quite red or orange; mine is arguably correctly registered as bronze with the DMV (DDS in GA). It also came in BRG and that trifecta of perfect good colors is ultra rare. I really enjoy seeing rare factory colors in the wild. A neighbor down the street had a beat to death Glacier Metallic 4runner. Look it up.
Whats you 5's color?

Thank you. What really bakes my noodle is that it has two other options and the color was presumably quite expensive.

Copper Red Mica. It was a common color on a lot of Mazdas over the years, but on the final generation of Mazda5 it was only offered in the first year, 2012. On later models they changed it to a different shade that, IMHO, isn’t as nice. I’d love to get a Miata in the same color, an NB or NC, for a perfect pair of vehicles.
Hmm - I don’t know why the picture of my car didn’t show up. Let’s try that again:

Ooh I know just the color. That is a nice shade indeed. I actually think the NC was done a grave disservice from an appearance perspective by mostly being offered in silver. It kind of turns the geometric shape into a featureless blob. In photos at least.

And more interior color variation. I will not buy a car with a black interior, but that’s the only choice on a lot of vehicles. Maybe you can get grey or beige, but that’s about it. More green, more blue, more red - PLEASE. We don’t need RGB in our computers but we need R, G and B in our cars.

The picture of my car didn’t show up in the post but I’ve edited it so it should be there now.

I feel ya. Great color on any car but it especially lends itself to the blobby 2010s Mazda styling.

All that pure unadulterated color gave me a shiver. YES! Even brown and beige is starting to look more un iq ue with each passing year. That dark green is lovely.
For the record, the Cruze has a genuinely original and good looking interior. It was really the first to do the color matched dash inserts. Those even came in red cloth in rare occasions on eco trims.
Keep in mind this was a low end 2012 compact.
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

I use daily to hate tan interiors thinking they were for old people. Then I realized after owning one that it makes the car feel a lot bigger, and nicer. In fact if my 328 had black interior I may not have bought it. Catching a glimpse of the tan interior is part of what got me excited enough to get out of my car and see if it was manual when I was strolling though the lot.
But also now I’m older so maybe younger me was right. lol
I also added colored lights in foot wells so at least a night I cannot have a colorful intoerior. I usually have it set to Purple, but sometimes red to match the dash lights.
