Porsches have always carried their weight right in the right place to put power to ground!

Thing was faster than an F50, and only slower to 60 than the McLaren F1 and the XJ220 (of cars of that decade).

True. Though I believe the 993 and later 911's put power down in a straight line even better due to the multilink setup.

Still slower than the 959 from almost a dozen years earlier! (I know, not exactly a fair comparison, but 11 years is a long time. )

Realistic comparison: 1986 911 Turbo - 272hp 0-60 4.6 seconds (with a four speed!)
