Being stuck at home for weeks on end, you are left to follow multiple endless rabbit holes on the internet. Hence I wound up finally buying my first Porsche, a 2007 Cayman S in Atlas Grey with a rare Terracotta full leather interior. All the usual minor wear for a car of its’ age with 68k miles but it’s in top shape mechanically. Having gotten the bug from my dad who had two 356s in high school and college, I decided to forgo endlessly chasing the air cooled bubble and go for something more modern with even better handling. Also gave me the opportunity to finally install the Brumos plate frame I’ve had lying around for years for just such a moment. I already have a few minor projects lined up for it, plan to use it as a weekend car and autocross it wit h maybe an occasional track day. I’m rather excited to have it in the garage now.

That is a beautiful car. It is always nice to see a subtle color with an interesting color interior.
It kind of suggests some additional accents. Red out tail lights, and maybe some bronze wheels and maybe side mirror caps.
dark gray or black with bronze/gold tone wheels is a similarly interesting look with a bit of an accent color.
I had not seen blue as an accent color on a darker gray car, instead of red... but it is a very cool look, in multiple senses of the word.
Your car is really asking for the accent color to be a bronze/dark copper color.

Nothing major for now , x-pipe/dual exhaust tips, 19" Carrera Classic wheels, padded sport steering wheel and modern radio upgrade. This will be for weekends, autocross and occasional tra ck day so not a councours queen

Don’t go too large on the wheels (I’d say anything over 18 will be counter productive). They’re engineered for 17/18s and best at that.
All the folks I know who went bigger eventually regretted it. Save the money.

I know 19" with PASM on sport off track is harsh, but I think the 19 s on stock suspension may have a bit more compliance depending on tire selection. I’ve read reviews pointing both ways. Since this won’t be my daily ( which is an S4 with 19 s on lowered suspension with beefier sway bars) I’m ok with a bit firmer ride.

I’m adding 19" Carrera Classi c wheels to go for this look. The 18"s that came on it will be used for AX and track days
