150 miles. I took some pics. The best part of this route is Old Creek Road, which has a scenic area where this first pic was taken. It isn’t long, but it is super twisty with no cross streets. Something tragic happened there today.

These Harleys pulled up and parked next to me when I stopped to have an apple and some water. They were snickering at the Ducati, which I thought was funny.

Kinja'd!!!

I was trapped behind a nondescript Jeep CUV and a fucking Mazda CX-5. Who refused to use the turnouts. I am quite sure that the 11th Comandment was, “Thou shalt yield when being followed on a mountain road by a Ducati to allow it to pass, so sayeth the Lord.” Heathens.

The Supersport has this cool adjustable windscreen that I have decided that I like. Toby just arrived with the family and was agitated that we were separated for a few hours.

I don’t know about you but when I’m driving something super fast and small the double yellow lines are subjective.

Maaaaaan, seeing that windsh ield reminded me that I just i ns talled a taller windscreen on my kawasaki, but I haven’t gotten to ride this week due to a threat of snow and ice.

My girlfriend and I have been debating a move so the southwest and her excitement over learning to ride might just be the tipping point.

What defines a safe p assing zone is completely contingent on your hp/weight ratio and throttle response. I’m at about 8 lbs per pony, and “immediate”. I can only imagine on a fast bike!

Did my daily ride through the neighborhood. Saw a couple of my students and a coyote walking around which was great. Smoked a cigar and drank some bourbon with my dad, brother and BIL and we vented to each other. Much needed therapy.

Wait I thought turnouts are for you to pass when someone refuses to use them. With our great roads, someone gets one chance, if they skip it, next one turns into a 1st/2nd pull.
