Kinja'd!!!

Last week I showed up in the late afternoon and all of the TP was long gone. Today I got there as they opened and found that most everyone already   had a package on their cart. I checked out at 10:11 and this was all that was left. Maybe they’ve got more in the back, but this should last me through the fall, provided I keep my chili intake to a minimum...

Yeah I thought the craziness ended since Costcos had put up notices saying they weren’t going to accept returns on TP/sanitizer and maybe some other things.

I bought a package of Coscto butt paper way back at the very beginning of all this, even before the Great Hoarding began. I still haven’t opened it yet, and we are a family of five. Those people who bought four or five (or more) of these things will have enough toilet paper to last them a lifetime.

How is this still a thing? It’s always fully stocked at my local stores.

Not around here. Most grocery stores, if they have any TP at all, have single rolls of the cheap stuff at 4 for $3.

I bought some back in January, and whilst I still have a two six packs left, I figure that this problem isn’t going away anytime soon so I might as well stock up while the price is normal and I have an extra $17 in my pocket.

We talk about this TP phenomenon, but how much butt wiping was taking place using TP from big rolls that are now sitting in custodial closets?

I have a crazy relative in florida that bought @6 of these in march. Mid april they slipped to my aunt, they had already gone through 2 packs and worried how long this was going to last. after a bit of prodding her and her husband, use a roll a day each.

W hen this started someone posted how the average person was calculated at 1/2 a roll a day , and I thought that seemed high. I think its really skewed by super wipers.

There’s been ample supply around here for weeks now, even name brands.

However, I was in podunk last week, and TP was pretty sparse, just a little generic and no name brands.
