We have jets.

Cool to see F15s, at least. Low and slow. Normally the only fighters we see are occasional F18s out of Lemoore.

I had a good vantage point but they didn’t exactly stick around as long as I wish they did. Fun, though.

It’s been cool to see the flybys. A couple of weeks ago, we had the Thunderbirds, but they were a little bit distant (but still viewable). Last weekend, F16s flew directly over our house. As in, heading RIGHT at me as I watched them approach. Tomorrow, there’s some sort of “aerial parade” going on, with over 30 plan es involved.

Very cool. Never get to see F16s either , that’s a treat. Wonder what the parade will be comprised of?

Can’t wait to see what you come up with! Nice to have a resident airplane photographer around here. The 15's were cool, but disappointingly quiet at low altitude. They came right up a valley through town, not allowed to put on much of a show or use after burners, I’m sure.

I was able to bring the family out to see the Blue Angels fly over Chicago yesterday.  It was great to be able to do something ... anything!

Didn’t know about the flyover tomorrow. Missed the others but might have to try and catch this one. Looks like they are flying out of JeffCo

Cool! Just standing outside with other people nearby was weird, the flyby was about 10 minutes behind schedule so we joked about our daily ration of Vitamin D and fresh oxygen before submitting to shelter orders again.

I’m curious too. The past couple of nights, there has been a biplane and whatever the somewhat Y shaped front prop plane is called. Definitely interesting things in the sky lately!

Lol!

The parking lot we went to is huge, and usually MAYBE 1/3 full.  There were hundreds of people there to watch, but people were really good about keeping their distance.

We’re close to Erie Airpark, so they should be directly overhead for me. On Sun day, there’s supposed to be an “old car parade” going through our neighborhood. According to that route, it’ll be directly behind my house.

It’s kind of a crap shoot on the location. It all depends on whether or not I pick a good spot to shoot from. We’ll see!
