It’s a “genuine” (so far as I know) ZHP knob I bought for my wife’s X3. It has a nice weight to it, and feels like a quality piece. When we sold the car I put the factory knob back on, and then put this on my (5-speed) E46 just for fun. Well I sold that and this has been collecting dust ever since. Anyone want it? Oppo discount rates apply. They list for ~$80 on ebay I think. I’m not sure I can be bothered to sell it on ebay right now; plus it’s used, has a couple minor dings etc.
I’m going outside to plant a bunch of trees but I’ll check on this post later, if there are any takers or whatever. Cheers.

I’ve never had a 6 speed. Check out this Pismo Beach lifeguard truck, OG Baywatch

Wait did you have one of those rare manual X3's? I’ve always secretly wanted one.

Seems well-polished.
Not judging though...

Much better than the factory knob!

Mine had the BMW performance shifter already installed but I didn’t like the knob it came with:
I also don’t care much for the alcantara boot but am not bothered enough to change it.

oohhhhh love that truck. Although it just seems so obvious that the second row of seats was just a cab chopped and tacked on, rather than the whole cab being designed to have 4 doors. But I’d LOVE a 4-door.

Yes, we did. My wife had an ‘07 for about 5 years. It was more fun to drive than it had any right to be, but I couldn’t get over its height. The suspension had to be stiff to let it corner the way it did, so my E46 wagon rode better over the same roads. It also didn’t have any more *useable* space than my E46. Unless you were hauling something tall.
But that engine and transmission were excellent.

Hey, this came from my wife’s car originally, so...

Yeah all of the older power wagons did that, I had no idea they were ever used officially for this though. We certainly didn’t have anything like that in Hawaii! Also the lack of diagonal bracing in the pier is freaking me out!

Oh man, now that you mention it, the pier looks rather more precarious than I suppose it really it. I bet they were like “nah we just drove these things 20 feet down they’re fine. ”
