Gale Banks destroys the hoonigan diesel build.
I found it hilarious.

Yep. It’s glorious. I already loved Gale Banks, but after watching that, I love him even more.

Watch the color of the air filter throughout the process. It goes from super clean and bright yellow, to blacker than the blackest black.
Also, it’s ironic that in this case he yammers on about how terrible it is for an engine to be “eating it’s own waste, like a dog eating crap in the yard”, but at the same time only sells EGR compliant tuners and yammers on about how great emissions controls are.

There’s a big difference between sucking up a bunch of soot particles because of a shitty tune with inadequate dyno cell ventilation and using metered exhaust gas to reduce NOx emissions.

The EGR is not opened a wide open throttle.

Right - In the poorly ventilated dyno room, the soot goes thru the air filter before going into the engine, rather than being unfiltered in an EGR system.
