Reposting as it got buried. A week or so ago, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I used my personal battery chargers the Optima Digital 400 and Optima Digital 1200 to get the point across.
I have been using the Digital 400 since 2016 and I thought it would be a good idea to showcase what you get in the box and how it works.

$90. 1/6/ 12 amps and built like a brickhouse. I’ve been very impressed

I bought mine on amazon. They were on the approved list for my Odyssey battery, though it should be 20 amps min instead of 12, but I needed something more versatile . Stay away from NOCO. They are hot trash dressed up nicely.

a little over a year. seems well made, i have no real concerns about it. I like that you can charge up to 6 amps without a fan but that it has a fan for the big amps. 1 amp for maintenance and smaller batts, 6 amps for regular battery, 12 amps for quick charge.

many. I bought it for the 105 ahr battery for the cruiser, but it also keeps my big and little boat batteries topped up as well as a camper. I just move it around as needed. I mostly drive everything all year but the boats and camper obviously

gotcha, since you mentioned boats. Optima claims their chargers can bring life to batteries and I thought it was a bunch of m umbo jumbo until we tested it on a beyond dead-dead Marina deep cycle large battery.

You can usually bring volts back into a battery but it won’t have a lot of capacity left. Then again sometimes the cell voltage just drops far enough that most chargers won’t bother and in that case you can usually get some useful life it of a battery by bringing it back from the dead

For some reason I was under the impression it had 2 output connections,
per their website it says “The Digital 1200 features an additional auxiliary maintainer port not available on the Digital 400"
Scratching my head as only
one is shown below the USB.

well the maintainer plug is a cord that comes out the back hatch, I will have to take a look over the weekend
