‘97 Ford F250 wood truck. I have driven this exact model and they are longer than you think. Good truck for doing truck things. It’s up in the Yaak, that’s all you need to know. Yack=basically like living in a holle r in West Virginia.

How did they do that?

How many boards would the Mongols hoard if the Mongol hoards got bored?

I didn’t realize 250 came in that cab configuration. NP.

That is a LOT of weight in that bed. I’d say the suspension on that truck is in good shape, it seems to be handling it quite well.

A wood truck would truck all the wood it could, wherever the wood truck would truck.

It’s intentional .
Gotta make sure you obscure the license plate!

Ahhhhh.
I don't understand why they're covering their plate when they gave out their personal phone number. Cognitive dissonance?

Fire wood isn’t as heavy as you would think. I usually see fire wood stacked well over cab height.

Those rounds are very heavy, takes at least two guys to lift em. I’ve been taking down a lot of trees to prep for a new house build, I’m guessing the guy has a backhoe or similar to load that wood.

I had that exact truck but in single cab. Was a great truck. 4.6L had decent power and the manual was pretty fun to drive

Yeah, I don’t know what that wood weighs, or what the bed payload capacity is on an F-250 but I was surprised to see it not having a noticeable droop. Seems like the suspension is indeed doing a decent job, or has been replaced by wood blocks.

If it’s from dead tree and fairly dry it’s not too bad but if that stuff is green it’s going to be pretty heavy.

They provided A CONTACT NUMBER. That doesn’t necessarily make it their home number.
Off the grid might mean off the grid. I’d actually be a bit surprised if it didn’t mean just that.

Most of the houses up there have land lines since there is no cell service.

My guess is the load in the photo is 1200 lbs plus or minus 200 lbs.
