After sitting in the sun for two days they went back to normal. I guess my water intrusion theory was correct.

The turn signals on my T-bird do tha t all the time. When I bought it, I thought the right telltale turn signal (driver turn signal indicators mounted on front fenders) was burned out, but then a friend came over to work on the another issue with the car with me, and afterwards, the light just started working again. A door in my house that day also latched closed when it normally never does, so that’s how my friend earned the nickname “fixing fairy”. When he’s around, stuff just magically starts working again :p
