A bit of a scramble this morning to pack a lunch as I had been in the country since Wednesday evening.
Chipotle seasoned chicken breast (Oscar Mayer) , Red Hot Riplets chips, Honey Ham (Hillshire Farm) also some gooey butter cookies from the store.
Red hot riplets are a local only chip, just spicy enough to keep munching. StL folks will know.
Of course kinja doesn’t do the 12 PM hour.

Chips on a sandwich is always a solid move.

Those chips sound really good. I’m jealous of your lunch. Beats my sad PB sandwich.

Agreed. It’s the California Burrito of Sandwiches...what would one call that?

Yeah, finding food on the road when working is getting to be, difficult. Most restaurants that I used to hit up for a quick, cheap meal are closed for the duration, and fast food is getting to be pretty old right about now. I hate eating in my car, but at least it’s getting warm enough now I can get a sandwich somewhere and eat in a local park, if they’re open, that is. Some municipalities have closed the parks as well. Don’t even get me started on finding public restrooms right now.

Oh hell, call it a hot dog at this point.

My son puts the waffle fries on his Chick-fil-a sandwich. So there’s that.

I saw those chips and immediately knew you were classy. Old Vienna ftw, especially Red Hot Riplets. Gotta show our STL brands some love. Now worsh it down with a Vess.

It’s not THAT hot. But eating the chips leaves your lips tingling wanting more...
that sounds bad.

I have always been a proponent of chips in a sandwich, it just works.
