Sorry guys. It’s been a while since life in general got in the way. Here it is:
This is essentially a virtual gallery of all the creative pictures taken by my fellow Opponauts while quarantined at home.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
According to the original post, the goal was, “to rally the community in these trying times we will have a showcase of sorts for all the members to participate [wherin] each photo must be taken in or around your domicile.”
One quick note. I have unfortunately had to cut a few photos so if you want to check out all of them, head to the comments section of the linked post above. Everyone was encouraged to limit their photos to three in number, but really anything goes if it is in the spirit of the contest.
Check out part 1 if you haven’t already

Without further ado, I give you the photos! Categorized by author, of course!

Canopy is great. Misty morning too, but in case of fire is my favorite I think.
Good stuff all around tho.

Dang it. Just a normal lamp? I’ll send my Minifigures after you for this! They've been practicing covert towing. The 'Bird is mine!

Your photo got the title spot! I'll admit he turnout for the actual showcases has been a bit disappointing but I had a lot of fun seeing everybody's entries. Such a diverse group of images.

Nooo! But it is a mildly interesting lamp... I haven’t seen many others like it, and I think it’s quite a nice lamp. It uses the “shine the light straight up so it bounces off the walls and fills the whole room” approach, which is very nice bec ause it reduces glare when reading, taking pictures, etc. Also, are the minifigures planning on stealing my real ‘ bird, or just my Lego ‘ bird? I think they might encounter some problems towing the real one, and I think the Lego one is on the hepatic tanagers’ honeymoon who knows where.

That is indeed a nice lamp. Maybe they’ll take it too. I just the m inifigures don’t misunderstand and hook and Heptic Tanagers while leaving the Fords behind (yes, both).

I may have to hire the blue jay to protect them, since he just got out of jail and is looking for work.... I’ll just have to explain to him that the hepatic tanagers are friends, not targets...

Well, ever since the avian sushi incident of April, 2020, blue jay has been banned from using knives. He has responded by taking up martial arts. We’re hoping he’ll learn meditation along the way...

Avian sushi? Oh, the humanity! I mean oh the avidity! Avianinity?

Avianonymity? Rumor has it the blue jay escaped from a lab, but he won’t confirm it and doesn’t talk about what happened to him there. Which may explain why sometimes he seems a little... off.

I heard there has been a rash of avian delinquency lately. It may have spread to the Lego world too. They have been up to some missed up stuff.
