I love the tennis ball picture?

Is it a squeaky tennis ball? Cornbread loves squeaky tennis balls but has no use for ones that don’t squeak.

Thanks, I was lucky to get that picture, she is pretty hard to photograph. It’s just a ball meant for dogs, apparently real tennis balls have fiberglass in them. She has many squeaky things that she destroys one at a time. There is one that is a stuffed banana that she is very gentle with and we don’t know why.

True, she is a little monster but very affectionate so she wins us over soon after.

Cornbread regularly destroys squeaky toys. Ruby tosses them around and pounces on them but doesn’t gnaw on them nearly as crazily. We never had a toy destroyed when it was just her.

Ruby has a blue ducky toy that she loves and won’t let Cornbread play with. She keeps it in her crate mostly.  Sometimes she carries it around, but if Cornbread grabs it she steals it and puts it in the far corner of her crate. I actually think she knows he hates going into the crate.

I had a foster who loved squeaky balls, but would destroy them extremely quickly. Luckily, while she didn’t like Chuck-it balls as much, they were sufficiently durable that she couldn’t destroy them. In any event here she is when she figured out she could walk on top of her crate to get stored toys:

(you can observe the poor condition of the Kong balls there, once she got the squeaker taken care of, she liked to rip the covers off them)

We found squeaky balls from chuck-it. They aren’t as durable as the ones that don’t squeak but so far they hold up better than the plain squeaky balls.

We made the mistake of leaving back-up toys on the kitchen counter. Cornbread found them quickly, and they were just barely within reach. His head is right at counter height so now back-up toys go on a shelf in the laundry room.
