I built the Lego Arc Fighter (80 88) about ten years ago, and probably eight years ago it broke into a few pieces. A nd while I had every intention of fixing it, I never got around to it. So now my high schooler, who is a Lego Head and also very bored, has taken it upon himself to tear it down and rebuild it. I’m fairly certain we have all the pieces, and if we’re missing something, we’ve got three giant bins of assorted Lego to look through. Sadly, and critically, we are missing the Kit Fisto mifigure. He might turn up, though. A quick search online shows that people are selling this kit, without figures, for as much as $100. It originally listed for $60. Not gonna sell it, though.

I remember when I could save my allowance for a few weeks and get a moderate sized kit for $20. Now you need to take out a mortgage for any set over 100pcs

Have the prices really gone up much accounting for inflation? I mean $20 when I was 10 is around $38 now, which will definitely buy you something interesting today.

Obviously Lego is spending more on licensing today, but prices don’t seem horrible to me?
