No word yet on the Thunderbirds next stop.

The DOD is not releasing the routes until 24 hours before the flyovers, so you have to keep an eye on the Twitters. All I can find is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! :

As part of “Operation America Strong,” the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds announced they will fly joint operations over Washington, Baltimore, New York, Newark, Trenton, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston and Austin, sources told USA TODAY.

The Blue Angels will separately fly over Miami, Tampa, Tallahassee and Jacksonville, Florida; Norfolk and Virginia Beach; Detroit, Chicago, Indianapolis, Nashville, New Orleans; and Kingsville and Corpus Christi, Texas.

The Thunderbirds are considering flights over San Antonio, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Oregon and Seattle.

Additional cities could be added to the lists.

I read that the Thunderbirds were scheduled to fly over Detroit today or tomorrow, but the weather is no bueno. I think one of the reasons they aren’t publishing an official schedule is to allow for flexibility with the weather.

Check you local listings. On top of the demo teams, local Air Force and Navy assets are doing their own flyovers.

Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing (appropriate username for this).

I love flyovers as much as the next person but this is a colossal waste of money. You know what would show support for front line workers? Spending this money to make sure they have PPE and masks and hell I don’t know... vaccine research funds ? Jesus Christ on a cracker. This is NOT what the country needs right now.

Thunderbirds flew the USAFA graduation a few weeks ago. They flew over the towns of the front range north to south and when they got to our town, they did a big circle around using my house as the center point. Got the family together to see in teh front lawn, where they flew in teh distance in front of the house and they went around, we ran through the house to the back deck to watch, T hen back through to the front yard again...

My house is directly under the flight path of many planes landing 17 miles away at DCA. They’re still high up enough that there’s no noise, but I can see them flying overhead through the skylights in my bedroom . I’ve actually flown from LGA to DCA and watched the little flight tracker map go right over my house. So...maybe I’ll be in this flight path.

 Morale is important, too.

This is not new money. All of the money for this was already allocated for canceled air shows. And let’s not forget about the billions of dollars Trump raided from the DOD budget to build that f**king wall.

That pull out on the interstate would have been a great place to watch, too.

I’m on the landing path for AUS. I haven’t heard a plane in weeks.

You’re right, it’s not. But the whole point of declaring a state of emergency was to enable the re-programming of funds to fight the pandemic. These funds most likely could have been thus reprogrammed, but weren’t. Because President Trump values spectacle over substance.
