It’s ugly out there now, with rain pounding the windows and wind rattling the walls.  For once I was home before it started rather than being stuck out there in it...

Oklahoma City just got hit earlier with some golf ball to baseball sized hail. Luckily it all went north of me.

It’s kind of weird - normally storms pass to the north and to the south of STL whilst leaving the city (relatively) unscathed. As usual , we’re right on the edge of the storm.

I’ve noticed Indi ana polis experiences the same thing. I assume it’s something about being a so much warmer than the (mostly)  farmland around us. Heat islands and such, although I can’t be bothered to look it up.

Yep, that looks like the same system that hit us earlier. Hopefully the worst is over.
