F@H points not updating properly?

EDIT: I think I may have fucked up by fucking around with the passkey, so I’m not getting the full QRB that I should be.

Not sure if this is a known issue, but I was sitting on 2,697,291 points, completed a work unit that was worth 197k but my points only updated to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

I noticed that over the weekend the amount of points on my profile seemed low compared to what was being submitted.

Does this have anything to do with a passkey? I never entered one initially (as far as I know), obtained one by email on Saturday, and put it in there but at first it was still calculating the points correctly. Not sure what’s going on but it’s not correctly adding the points to the online stats... this was the first WU where I confirmed by actually look at the before/after numbers but I think it’s been going on most of this weekend since my PC was folding most of this weekend (apart from a few hours of gaming) and my points total didn’t change much.

The points it says you’ll get are just estimates, I think, and then it calculates it for real when the jobs are submitted.

I understand that they’re estimates, but up to this weekend I was getting the points that were being shown in the log (or close enough) whereas now it seems to only give me a fraction of the estimate.

There can also be a delay in the totals updating. Sometimes mine updates relatively quickly after completing a wu, sometimes it takes a couple of hours before the stats reflect.

I’m aware of that, too. Since we started here, points have always shown up within 1/2 of the completed WU, it’s just that the amounts shown in the log vs. what was added online was correct, whereas with the most recent WU I only got between 25-30% of the 197000 I should have gotten.

I think I may have fucked up with the passkey - originally, I think I just entered a password in the “passkey” field since I never emailed for a passkey in the first place. On Saturday, I emailed for a proper passkey and put that into the F@H client , so if I understood the many forum posts and FAQs that I’ve read, I think I’m not getting the full points because the system thinks I’m a new profile due to the passkey. If that’s what happened, then I fucked up and I guess I have to wait until the system starts rewarding the bonus points to me again.

Yes, and 80% completion; that puts me behind since I think I disabled CPU folding after getting a proper pass key so that’ll probably count as a failed WU.

Looks like I'll only be getting base points until I meet the requirements.

I did something similar.

When I first started folding, I didn’t have a passkey at all, so now on the points earned part of the web viewer, it doesn’t factor in the points I earned before adding the passkey.

The good news, is that when you go to the stats page, they show up.

Funny thing is that I still see the points on my profile from before I added the proper passkey, it's just that new WUs are being credited far less than the points estimate, which I believe is due to the system thinking I'm a new "gin-san" and applying the requirements for bonus points (80% of WUs returned on time and minimum 10 completed).

Yeah I fell behind this weekend, too . On the plus side, my most recent WU was credited fully, so it looks like things are back to normal...
