Orange cranberry scones from scratch, first time ever. The hardest part is cutting in the butter.

Did you actually slice in the butter or just get in there with your hands?
I’ve seen methods where people will freeze and then grate the butter into mixtures for even butteriness.
Looks fucking fantastic though, I’ve never made scones before.

I used a pastry knife thingy to cut the butter into the flour. I read about grating the butter but that seemed excessive.

My wife makes and consumes those bricks. An English muffin for me!

These are very not brick like. I feel like a more traditional scone should be more dense, but these are very tasty.
