Got up early for a work thing I volunteered for. After that took roughly five minutes, I went out for some photos.

Not too much car stuff, but eh. I had fun. But I remember why I’m not a morning person when I don’t have to be.

i have an extra day of weekend and nothing to do with it...(unless you count chores)

next week ill have 2 extra days of weekend...its wierd to not be looking forward to that...lol

Nice shots.

As I get older, I’ve become a begrudging morning person. I blame my time in the Navy for that. But o ne of the things I’ve come to love is taking Ozzy out before 7, when most  people are still asleep, and walking back through some of the neighborhoods behind ours where we see all kind of wildlife.

Similar blame for waking up at 5.15 for six months, along with work hours being “you’ll start when you’re needed and you’ll go home when you’re done”. But it was very nice to be up with all the birds singing and the coyotes howling.

We have some coyotes around here but I have yet to see one, but I have heard them a few times. Mostly we see lots of foxes and deer, not to mention squirrels, chipmunks, and birds. There has been a big owl living in a tree up the street from me and I see/hear it sometimes, which is cool.

These are very good. Were these at the same time as the ones you submitted to the contest/showcase? They are so atmospheric with the mist and see on everything. I like.

Yeah photography can be cathartic. I just use my camera phone most of the time because I don’t have a nice digital camera and only I will see them most of the time, unless I choose to bombard Oppo with the good ones.
