[O riginal] -
Now the lack of work is hitting the CPU-only crowd.

I’ve had no shortage of dozen hour jobs on my cpus; how many cores have you set up on your slot? Try rebooting your computer or setting it to use an even number of cores if it persists.

A reboot usually forces the client to download and start work.

My Mac has been sitting all morning waiting for a WU.
My PC has both a WU for the cpu and gpu running.
My work laptop is crawling along like a drunk lethargic snail through molasses on a WU worth like 9k points. It should be done by midnight lol.
EDIT: Make sure you have the most up to date software: https://foldingathome.org/2020/04/17/new-foldinghome-software-with-the-option-to-prioritize-covid-19-projects/

Thanks. My other linux box is rocking along with another 4 hours to go before it finishes.

Yeah my GPU was stuck in that cycle this morning. There’s no rhyme or reason to it, sometimes it just seems to get stuck in a loop of finding no WUs.
On a positive note, the team’ s now ranked 884, and I’ll probably end up passing the 2 million milestone later today.
We’re about to pass Australia and Belgium, lol.
I’m guessing it’s only a small group over at Boeing that’s participating in this since I’d assume that an aerospace company like that would have massive computing resources.

You have to wonder if they’re using their work machines to fold at night or if they are using their personal machines and have just banded together because they work for Boeing.
