Maybe it’s my hillbilly lineage but this thing really speaks to me.

If this were close enough to check out I would be willing to  put my Silverado up for sale to buy it.

As long as it’s not hiding a bunch of rust/bondo under there, that’s a nice price.

It looks much cleaner than any I’ve seen for sale in my area in quite awhile.  It’s just that much better given that it’s a Choo Choo customs.

I really like the choo choo El Caminos, but I can’t remember the last time I even saw one at all; let alone one that was for sale.

I would love to roll down the road cranking some Def Leopard from the speakers in this beast.

I can assure you that they are a lot of fun. I’d be scared of one from New England though. Mine is a Florida car and it still has some surface rust underneath.

But $4k is a nice price if it runs and drives and isn't completely rusted.

Yeah, I’d be curious to see how the underside of it would look if I got it on a lift. I have seriously considered selling my truck and looking for an El Camino or even a Ranchero.

I’d need to figure out getting myself around my in-laws farm where I occasionally help out and hunt is the issue.

I’ve been thinking, an El Camino, maybe with a cap on it, would be about the perfect truck for me. And the values for the final gen are still reasonable, I expect that they could see a jump after this depression ends. Buy a decent one cheap, take care of it, sell it for profit some time  in the 2040s.

I'm not too familiar with the Choo Choo, I just like El Caminos.

It might have more ground clearance than you think, especially a non-Choo Choo edition without the nose and skirts. You could get taller tires for more clearance too. And taller springs. The rusty prone areas are the rear frame horns and door bottoms. Also the floors.

My car is pretty well sorted with okay paint, new suspension, upgraded halogen headlights, electric seats out of a volvo, nice hidden stereo, pretty fresh crate motor with headers and a brand new holley sniper efi. I also just installed a new gauge cluster. I’d sell it for $12k, probably. Which means I probably don’t want to sell it. It’s awfully fun to drive around in.
