So, the KO2s are a D load range, and thus far are terrible on the truck. They don’t make C load range. They refuse to balance well, and are generally seeming like they’re not going to work out. So, I’m looking at the Cooper Discoverer AT3 4s. Just figured I’d drop the update. Shame, as I do like the offroad capability of the KO2s, but I can’t abide them for daily use, and if I plan on driving the truck from Minneapolis to Las Vegas in October, this will not do.
Anyway, I’m wondering if one of you lot can give me authorship on O&E? I’d like to start posting my adventures. :)

And I checked, KO2s are not available in XL or C range in my size, and I’m not buying wheels just to get the right load range tires. The Coopers are XL range, so they should be a better fit for the truck. Live and learn I suppose.

Never been the biggest K02 fan. My friend’s older MT KM2s were less of a hassle then his sets of K02s have been, which makes no sense. Some seem to balance easy, others don’t. Would go Wildpeaks or after that, Discoverers. Know people that are happy with both. I had multiple sets of Yokohama Geolander A/Ts on my old truck I had no issues with. I don’t think the Open Country is severe snow service rated otherwise would throw that on the list.
I have my own reasons about avoiding GY, but like my OEM installed Duratracs so far. May go Patagonia MTs or MT/Rs next - and I haven’t put
GYs on anything in I’ve owned in ~20years.

I had the Coopers on my Jeep before the Toyos. No complaints, but I never really take ride quality into account as I’m used to driving old motorcycles and trucks. I’m running E rated tires on my Jeep which weighs a few hundred lbs less than your truck.

I think it’s moreso the weight distribution. It seems fine on the front end, but silly out back. Pickup life?

They do make a C load range KO2 for the Raptor, but you’ll need a 17 inch wheel and room for 35s.
KO2s are very pressure sensitive. Let a few PSI out of them and see if the ride im pr o ves.

They’ve been at several different PSI settings, they’ve been road forced twice, and rebalanced twice. They’re getting rebalanced again by a different shop today to rule out the balancer. I’m not putting up with this shit lol.
I’m also not buying different wheels so i can run a specific tire (that i’d also have to buy again).
I think it’s a better plan to move to something else, which is a shame as I do like how they perform off road and I like how they look. But I’m not putting up with the hassle forever.
