It’s easier to do sway bar links when the car is on the ground, I don’t have ramps and it’s only going to be lifted for a few more days so may as well use that ground clearance!
Everything went surprising good. The front passenger side was a little tight and required some fine hits with a dead blow but the rest were relatively easy. The new bolts were a bit of a pain solely because they were a) SAE vs the metric entire rest of my car. b) the bolt and nut heads were different SAE sizes. c) one of the bolt packs had an extra large washer that wasn’t on the plans and threw me in to online searches for a minute
All in I think I took an hour and it was mostly finding the right socket/wrench/leverage combo to get to everything.
On mobile so I can’t quite format photo text how I want. 1. Old worn rear link 2. New shiny Rear link on the other side 3. New shiny front link

Sometimes they will intentionally use different size heads for the but and bolt, so one can tighten it down with only one set of wrenches.

I guess that makes sense. I’m slightly disorganized so having out a slew of sockets and wrenches for what was basically 8 bolts was mildly maddening

Yeah, that can be tough. I’ve been there.
