We’re all pit crew, now.
The people who make sure things are running, without whom we don’t make it to the finish line.
It was kind of inspiring.
I should probably take a shower.

I used to get deployed for months and often had limited resources at outposts , I can take it. My wife draws the line these days...

Before we had running water my mom would heat water on the stove, like 2-3 gallons and I would take a sponge bath in the lawn behind the house. Cold AF in the winter time. Bathing time was limited to 90 seconds tops.
