The question is, whose job is worse? The porcupine ranch dog, who has to be with them getting little pricks constantly? Or the rancher, who has to handle them directly, but less often?
Of course, I’m not sure why the ranch dog appears to be on top of them.

I had assumed that was a misstep in drawing depth, but it is odd now that you point it out.
I’m going with the dog, because his main tool is a soft nose, while the farmer has a staff, and probably thick gloves if he needs.
