The world is replete with oddities, and this collection was brought to my attention today: The Internet collection of flexi/cardboard/paper records.

When I was a kid, there was a company that offered first-day-of-issue stamps. They came with a neat sheet of paper which described the stamps and the stamps themselves were postmarked to prove they were first day of issue.
This was what I though of when you wrote “Stamped stamps.”

Nice. I was never much of a collector, more of a hoarder.
