We have internal dissent in the household. At this moment, she pushed the 16 year old blind Chihuaha out of the way to eat some dog kibble. It is going to get ugly.

In the interests of peace, look at this cool 1977 or 78 Sunchaser from Australia that made it to the owners group. It is rusted beyond repair, but I did not know that they existed before 1980.

If she isn’t eating it, then the diet food is sort of working?

Our F eline O verlord is very particular about Her food. She now likes one particular dry cat kibble* , and three “flavours?” of canned food from one grocery store brand food. She will  occasionally eat some tuna.

* When she was a kitten she tried some free kitten- kibble from Royal Canin, the stuff was like crack cocaine and she would scarf a bowl and then spend all day crying for more. We had to ween her off of it over weeks. Never again.

Pumpkin’s expression is somewhere between blank distaste/disgust and Dull Surprise.

One might steal all the custom Griffith parts off the dead Sunchaser and install them on a suitably-modified normal Celica, mightn’t one? I imagine any added bracing would be some work to duplicate, but still.

We once made the cardinal sin of buying the wrong dry cat food.   O nce . Our cat went on a hunger strike and was not quiet about his displeasure. On the plus side he did lose some weight which he needed to.

One of our friends is giving away kittens that were dumped outside their house. My daughter asked if she could have one. Ummmm, no. I told her, “you’re about to leave for college and won’t be able to take a cat with you. That means your mom and I would be stuck with your cat for the next fourteen years just so you can have a kitten to play with over the summer.”

While I like cats, my wife isn’t a fan. I don’t want to deal with that. Pick your battles, Oppo.

I’m not sure what is stressing ours out more, the two of them picking at each other or the fact everybody is home all day and its hard for them to find space to hide and nap.

Hammer is about to go on a low carb diet.  The vet told us to start giving him canned food, instead of kibble.  We’ll see how that goes.  He doesn’t have any other animal’s food to steal.

Don’t be surprised if the Chihuaha goes missing.
