Really freaking loud, with ALL the turbo noises. Currently working on picking out a muffler to refine and tame the sound. I would’ve liked to get some driving clips, but it wasn’t possible this weekend. Maybe later in the week.

Getting the right sound can be a challenge. Lots of choices for a deep v-8 rumble or a Japanese fart can type.  That said I have no experience with turbos and their effect on exhaust sound.

Ive seen a guy around with a 928 that sounds straight piped. The only time I’ve seen him drive it is during snow storms. It looks like it might have a slight lift to it. It’s white with red rally style mud flaps and black wheels.

The resulting image from your description sounds glorious.

The turbos themselves act as mufflers in the sense that they recoup exhaust gasses as per their operation. Personally, I think the sound is near good enough now, it just needs the volume turned down a couple notches. The NVH increase and crazy drone is not fun.

You may want to try a simple bullet style, they are available most everywhere in various diameters and also pretty cheap.  When I wanted to make my car a little quieter I added a couple (dual exhaust) and they did the job.
