Which is, the regular version is coming with the Accord’s excellent 2.0t+10 speed and SH-AWD. As soon as I drove the new Accord I thought this exact powertrain combo would be great in an Acura TLX awd. A good competitor to an Audi A4 if I may, provided they really improve the interior. I like the way it looks on the outside already. Consider this added to the list of my next cars
Of course the Type-S having a turbo V6 was already 99% confirmed.

Yesss. They also need to drop the push-button gear selector and the massive drive mode selector. Two pretty big issues with the RDX IMO.

Given what they did with the RDX idk if it will really be an improvement. Design wise I think the RDX is great however implementation of the “touch pad” seems wonky.

Sorry but it will be exactly that. Don’t care about push button
And so will the touchpad infotainment. Don’t care that much as long as it has Android Auto
I played around with it in the new RDX. Can learn the system in a few days, it’s not as bad as the Lexus touchpad though.

Those eyes, so menacing and evil, real tough guys will buy these.
I guess our two styling choices now are C-pillar DLO fail or C-pillar window with upkick for “character”, reminds me of a CUV in car form.

Wait, that’s a nice looking Acura... did I wake up in 2005?

The turbo V6 needs to trickle down and get put into an Accord Type R.

Let’s see them do a 300Hp 2.0T Type-R with an LSD first

I want to love Acuras so much. But that frooooooont ooooooverhang is killing me.
Why can’t they be rwd biased (lookin g at t he very least) ? Is that so hard?

That C-pillar quarter window shape sorta kinda first appeared on the 2008 Infiniti M/Nissan Fuga but really took off after everybody tried to copy the Audi A7.
2008: Infiniti M
2011: Audi A7
2012: Audi A5 Sportback
2013: Ford Fusion, Nissan Altima & Sentra
2014: Chevy Impala
2015: Chrysler 200, Hyundai Genesis (before it became the Genesis G80)
Pretty sure that’s a Lambo?

Stylists/designers, so creative!
I attribute it to wannabe-Audi syndrome, as Audi really got the 6 window fastback thing solidified with the C5/C6 A6 and various A8. A7 helps, too.

I will trade my fsport GS in for something like this. Let's hope...

Well, it’s not like you’ll be getting a new GS anytime soon...

I like it. And unlike the current car, it might actually be worth trading my 4th gen in on. I’ll have to drive one first to find out.

I think for the Accord’s size and weight that would be more of an Si.
