So bored. Like, SO BORED. Just sitting here in an empty office.

What’s everyone doing this Easter weekend? I’ve got a couple drives planned and am taking the ST to the dealer for some service.

If this current thunderstorm doesn’t destroy the miata (henceforth known as Sasha) then I will drive it top less a bunch and maybe fix some things. Possibly do the brake fluid and air filters on the Cayman with no name yet. Oh and possibly a big surprise coming tomorrow!

If the weather was going to be like it is today then yardwork and outside stuff would be the plan, but of course the high temp is going to drop 20 degrees from Friday to Saturday so plans are up in the air. If nothing else I can get the garage straightened up and ready to go.

My cars are falling apart. TG its a long weekend. I will be doing some wrenching.

Truck has a caliper than needs replacing. Will be doing that, hoses, pads and rotors.

Truck was playing tennis with a pebble on a highway. Pebble won. Need a new windshield.

C5 has a thermostat stuck open. Need to replace.

All cars need super duper cleaning.

Garage needs to be organized...again.

I need a 40 foot ladder to clean gutters and install gutter guards.

I am tired of thinking about all these projects.

I think i will just continue to stay in the office.

Also working on the wife to take a trip to PA to buy that Volvo I posted about a week or so ago. Negotiations have thus far been... difficult.

I think I will get lots of work done today so I can go for a nice long drive around Atlanta tomorrow. I might even time lapse it, though people don’t tend to watch videos posted here. There are a few landmarks I’ve never visited, like the Krogg Street Bridge, which might be fun. I’ve gotta get OUT!

I’m just too bored to actually get any of the myriad tedious work to be done.

And I also really need to get some research done to try to do a partial ATF flus h on the Cruze because it’s been shifting a little rough lately, which could be a fun project. I’ve never done anything more than change the oil (not that anything breaks anyways) so this would be exactly like that but nothing at all like that., so I just need to figure it out.

Absolutely nothing, since anything I would ordinarily do is shut down. Probably mow the lawn to keep the place from looking abandoned or something.

I’m thinking of taking advantage of the nice weather to pull everything out of my garage and reorganize it. Plus, my wagon is overdue to stretch its legs, so maybe a long, slow drive somewhere.

hopefully installing my new neutral safety switch on the miata. Since currently I idle at 2500 rpm unless I clutch in all the time when not moving. Mildly inconvenient leg workout. Theres two of them on that car and the one in the pedal still works. Otherwise the car probably wouldnt start without that one. But I can set cruise control in neutral currently which is a fun way to auto redline the car lol.

Then I will need to drive the car to prove that I didnt break anything. And driving is a good quarantine activity anyways since all the trails are closed.

Oh and I need to spend a whole day properly cleaning and detailing both cars. The full wash, clay, and wax treatment!

So much work still to do. I’ve had three Zoom meetings today. Grant to write, a nother grant to start, paper to write, and getting used to all this online teaching has sucked all my time.

We are going to try and observe Triduum traditions as much as possible thr ough online Mass and such. And I’m hoping my new tubes come in the mail tomorrow so I’m back on the trails. Turns out my local shop stopped carrying Presta 650x18 tubes, and I wasn’t smart enough to restock after my last flat.
