Tested my Sunbird’s A/C for the first time last night . Thankfully, it’s still as cold as ever.
Praise the original owner for dropping over a grand to rebuild the entire system and fit it with R134a.
I also took the ‘Bird back to my friend’s house to stay in his garage for one more week until my building gets here. We’re supposed to have severe storms with 2-inch or larger hail tonight, so the Highlander and my 6 can rest in the garage as well.
Speaking of the 6, I need to drive it again. It has been a week already since its last drive. This pandemic working from home stuff is going to save a ton of miles on my daily driver. I monitor the battery voltage through the DroneMobile app and it’s at 12.3 right now, so I figure it’s time for a drive.

Good to hear things are coming along with your new she d. I actually need to drive my car since it has a 6 year old battery and modern electronic gizmos. I might time lapse a nice long drive around Atlanta tomorrow if I have time, maybe visit the famous Krogg St ree t Tunnel and other landmarks while no one's about.

Good for you monitoring voltage, my Volvo didn’t get driven for a week and it was dead.
Also, incredibly AFAIK there’s still at least a little R12 left in my 85 Jaguar - at least the AC was sorta working last summer. Haven’t really tried it yet this year
