Take 2. I was more careful with this one and went into more detail, painting the interior etc... I don’t have any silver paint, so i filed off the paint on the parts that I wanted bare metal colored. I was hoping to use tin foil for the head lights, but I couldn’t make it work so I went with paint. I’m short on paint in general so I used some not-model paint for this, but it still came out pretty nice!

This thing started out really ugly:

Nice work ! That die line on the front of the hood is really bothering me though!

I remember some of the earlier versions of this casting you were able to remove the body from the base on purpose - there was a latch mechanism on the bottom.

There was also a roll-cage for the interior.

Yea I didn’t really notice it until I painted. I could maybe sand it out, maybe use putty. I want to ditch the scoop as well.

cyanoacrylate glue in gel form (super glue gel) makes for an excellent fast dry filler when combi ned with an accelerator. Can be finish sanded with 400 and finer, no need for primer.

I use this accelerator  with Loctite Super Glue Gel.
