My wife decided that we should foster a dog since she doesn’t need to travel for work. Then I broke my collarbone. Now that I am moving through healing, she felt it was time.
Now my five year old, chill, introverted 35 lb dog Enzo has to share his good life with Stanley, a one year old 55 lb pit bull mix who is a good dog but a freaking whirlwind of energy. The first few hours have been an adventure.
We will work on training him and then try to find him his forever home. Let me know if anyone in the southeast is interested. Wish us luck.

I’ve learned that Scout hates beds with cotton stuffing and with the walled sides. She’s destroyed every one of them. I finally broke down and bought her a one piece memory foam one, and she hasn’t chewed on it in the several months I've had it.

Happily Stanley was destroying a toy . . . And then a water bottle . . . But not Enzo’s favorite bed. St anley is excited and maybe a bit stressed tonight.

So how come the FNG gets the bed?

Scout tends to get destructive when she is bored or nervous. I tend to not leave toys around if I’m not around, because she hasn’t discovered anything she can’t chew through yet. She also likes playing jenga with wood piles. Pits have a ton of energy, and are generally smart. While not as bad as huskys, Pits were the other breed my Dad would find on the roof when he was a UPS guy.

One of the great things about Enzo is he isn't possessive.
