Yesterday, Pap called me. He talked to the guy who’s doing the work on the Camaro for us. Should be some time next month (this was on March 31st, I don’t know if he meant April or May) . I’m not sure how that’ll work if the virus hasn’t died down by then. I’ll probably take it to him so Pap doesn’t end up at risk, and just drop it off and come straight home. Either way, IT’S ALMOST TIME.
I don’t give a shit if every cruise is cancelled, NOTHING is stopping me from driving it this summer. I’ve been waiting too damn long. If the COVID’s still around, I’ll just not go anywhere in it, just cruise around before coming home, so I’ll still be social distancing.

It is not fun waiting for something to be done on a classic , m y truck is almost done but I’m not sure if they guys are in the shop. Of course they might have to help people get their cars working if they need it right now. I still have to do a few things to the truck myself when I get it back so this torture not being able to. I even changed the gearing so I have to run those in with a series of drives and cool down periods, that I can’t do now when I have nothing to do!

Well, this isn’t a shop. It’s a guy my grandfather has known for years. It’s the same thing Pap himself used to do- work out of his own garage in his backyard. So it may be a while but it’ll be the only one he’s working on I think.
