!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , and I found a photo of an early sedan via Wikipedia.

Kinja'd!!!

1969 Holden Torana HB SL Sedan

That beauty inspired me to come up with a teal collection for Oppo today. After all, my favorite current Wrangler color is Bikini (just barely beating out Hella Yella).

(Fair warning: there’ll be some turquoise in here too, because photographing these colors is hard to do with any accuracy, and because frankly I don’t care if we drift a little from teal. Turquoise is my birthstone, after all.)

Kinja'd!!!

Is this *really* teal? My article, my rules.

Sticking with Jeeps, the classic XJ Cherokee was offered in both teal and turquoise over the years.

Kinja'd!!!

This isn’t a factory color, but since the S2000 is my dream roadster, you have to live with it.

Kinja'd!!!

Sticking with Honda, this CR-Z is quite nice.

Kinja'd!!!

A restoration, I’m assuming not the factory color, but I can’t resist its charm.

Kinja'd!!!

And rather than steal any more photos, I’ll just leave this link for your perusal. A classic car show dedicated to teal.

I once owned this teal 2001 F-250, with the requisite 7.3 power stroke.

Those aren’t teal. This is teal https://www.skillter.com/en/ad/gmc/sierra+1500/standard%20cab%20pickup/1993/0704014.html

I only remember this as I test drove one this color when I bought my 1994 Sierra. Wound up buying an Onyx black model with leather seats (this on the cusp of the fancy pickup trend).  Looked gorgeous when it was clean, which was about 15 seconds after it was dry...then every spec of dust showed up.   That truck is what turned me off of GM products.

There is such a dearth in teal that I somehow don't have a single car photographed in that color. We need more teal, stat!

That Holden looks familiar...and indeed it is. It’s a variation of the HB Vauxhall Viva and keeps the HB designation.

I prefer the two-tone look, but that’s still a sharp car.

My mother actually had a two tone Viva (white body, brown roof) once.
