I’ve operated both generation of five-tons and I wouldn’t want the earlier one, even though it does have the upgraded tires.

That one is an M35 (only 2.5 ton); is that what you mean? Did you drive the A2 or A3?
The multi fuel option is attractive on the A2, but I hear the engine likes to grenade itself, so...

Clearly,
you need the ring mount upgrade. When I was in the Guard, one of our 5Ts had this, but we never put a gun on it.

A soft top lets you stand up and get a decent swing with the chainsaw - I think it’ll be a net win even when the zombies are around. Against the base ball size hail when the nuclear winter starts really brewing, ho w ever, you’ll want the h ardtop .
Decisions, decisi ons. W hy can’t someone mak e a proper universal bugout machine?
