That is, if you’re not just chilling at home in your pajamas. I’m back at work today so I’m wearing my 30th birthday present to myself today, a 1972 Rolex day-date with a Buckley dial.

Nothing special in general and currently nothing at all because you just reminded me that I have to charge my fitbit.
That is a very striking watch, I really like the blue and gold together.

Still the crapple and I have the ugliest band on right now (the white plastic one it came with that now has spray paint on it). I am however still home.

Figured most people we still at home today.
Only wearing OEM Apple bands? I got my girlfriend a non-OEM one off of amazon for pretty cheap and she really likes it.

I was worried the gold might be too gaudy, but I’m enjoying
the splash of gold on my wrist.

I was just looking at pictures of a 22B and this watch immediately reminded me of that. There’s nothing gaudy about a 22B.

I feel weird going out in public without a watch on, at home not so much, but once I’m dressed I feel weird without one on.

I don’t think it will be too much longer though. There is a bill in the mix in PA to let business re open if they conform with CDC guidelines. Our CEO owns our company and the building. So nothing holding him back if it passes haha.
No I have a nice leather one from etsy that was only $20. I wear the apple band most of the time because I run everyday and don’t have to be careful when I wash my hands. I need to get a cloth one though, this one sticks to my arm and I hate it.

It’s strange. I only feel compelled to wear a watch when I leave the house.

About the same for me. I wore this a little over the weekend at home, mainly because I just bought it.

No thing. I'm working from home. Which means I have only just enough clothes on to be able to walk the dogs and get the mail.

The same Sieko 5 I always wear. That is also a factor of it being my only watch.

Nothing— the crown on my Tissot decided that it was time for the threads to quit engaging, and since it’s raining, I don’t want to risk any water ingress. Maybe I’ll find a time to get it fixed after all this blows over (I hope), but for now, my wrist is getting used to being naked again.

The crown got stripped on my Tag and it had to go away for service . Luckily it was like a $45 fix.

Yeah, waiting for the one good horologist in town to be able to open again someday (hoping he makes it through this; he’s been in business almost 40 years). I don’t want to just send it out to some random repair place.
Unfortunately, I can’t tell myself whether it’s the crown or the case that’s the problem, and I’m not in a position to take it apart and find out.

Me too. I have a dozen clocks around the house. Makes for a PITA twice a year. But I feel naked outside without a watch.

I’m definitely at home but I’ve been wearing watches to amus e myself. Today it’s my Timex Weekender that I mistakenly thought had a dead battery but actually doesn’t.

But it’s not the weekend!
Even if it had a dead battery, shouldn’t be too hard to change.

Its some no-name(“independent watch is how the case and crown are signed) dive watch from China. I have a thing for chunky di ve watches. My Grail watch(which I’m fine never owning...) Is a N ivada Depthmaster 1000. They had a few versions, but my favorite had what was called the Pacman Dial. This watch gave me the look and feel of that watch without the $3000 pricetag. I don’t want to wear a watch I can’t afford to replace and I don’t want to buy a watch I won’t wear. Powered by a Seiko NH35a movement like my other watch. I also really like the grey ‘sunb urst’ dial too.
